Check for power to the unit
Check phone line for dial tone, interference, and/or static
Power fail the ATM and modem by unplugging unit, wait 3 seconds,
and re-plug unit
Check for low paper or currency
Check three cables on the rear of the POS device (back of the screen)
Print <Device Status> to receipt printer from Maintenance
menu
Retrieve DI Codes from the journal tape (i.e., Paper Low: DI01 2D:50:00)
